- By making a reservation you are agreeing to all of the terms laid out on this page.
- 1. Reservation
1.1. All reservations are subject to availability and confirmation.
1.2. A valid credit card or other acceptable form of payment must be provided at the time of booking to secure the reservation.
1.3. Lagom reserves the right to cancel or modify a reservation if payment information is invalid, if the reservation was made fraudulently, or if the guest violates any of the terms and conditions outlined herein.
1.4. Changes to a reservation, including but not limited to the dates of stay or room allocation , are subject to availability and may result in additional fees.
- Check-In and Check-Out
2.1. Check-in time is 4.00pm on the day of arrival. Check-out time is 11am on the day of departure.
2.2. Early check-in or late check-out may be available upon request, subject to availability and additional fees.
2.3. Guests who fail to check-out by the specified time may be charged an additional fee.
- Room Use and Conduct
3.1. Smoking is not permitted in any Lagom guest room or public area. A fine of £1000 will be immediately deducted from you payment method.
3.2. Pets are not allowed in the building, with the exception of the pet friendly rooms or service animals.
3.3. Guests are responsible for the conduct of all persons staying in the room and for any damages caused during their stay.
3.4. Guests must comply with all Lagom policies and local laws and regulations.
3.5. Only the guests confirmed in your reservation are permitted to stay. Any extra guest not confirmed will be charged at £150/guest/night. This will be deducted from your payment card without notice.
- Payment and Fees
4.1. The rates quoted are per room per night and are subject to change without notice.
4.2. Taxes and additional fees may apply to the quoted rate.
4.3. Payment for the full amount of the reservation, including taxes and fees, will be charged to the credit card provided at the time of booking.
4.4. Additional fees may apply.
- Liability and Damages
5.1. Lagom is not responsible for any loss or damage to guests’ personal property.
5.2. Guests agree to indemnify and hold Lagom harmless from any claims or damages arising from their use of the hotel/hostel facilities.
5.3. Lagom reserves the right to charge guests for any damages caused during their stay.
- Cancellation and No-Show
6.1. Cancellation policies may vary depending on the rate and type of room booked. Please refer to the specific cancellation policy for your reservation.
6.2. Guests who fail to cancel their reservation within the specified time or fail to show up for their reservation may be charged the full amount of their booking.
- Miscellaneous
7.1. Lagom reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time without notice.
7.2. These terms and conditions are governed by UK & Northern Ireland law.
7.3. If any part of these terms and conditions is deemed invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in effect.
- Events
8.1. Lagom may offer event space for guests to rent for private events such as meetings, workshops, conferences, elopements, and parties. These events must be arranges with Lagom staff prior to booking.
8.2. All event space rentals are subject to availability and must be reserved in advance.
8.3. Lagom reserves the right to refuse rental of event space to any individual or group that violates Lagom policies or local laws and regulations.
8.4. Guests who rent event space are responsible for their own equipment and supplies, unless otherwise agreed upon in writing with Lagom.
8.5. Lagom is not responsible for any damages or injuries that occur during the event, and guests who rent event space agree to indemnify and hold Lagom harmless from any claims or damages arising from their use of the event space.
8.6. Guests who cancel their event reservation within the specified time period may be eligible for a refund of the rental fee, subject to the cancellation policy for event space rentals.
8.7. Lagom may offer catering and other services for events, subject to availability and additional fees. Any such services will be subject to separate terms and conditions.
8.8. Lagom reserves the right to modify the terms and conditions for event space rentals at any time without notice
8.9 Lagom reserves the right to charge guests for any damages caused during their stay including extra cleaning.
8.10 Please ensure all item are cleared from Lagom before checkout, and the premises are restored to their original condition. Additional charges will be incurred for any post-checkout occupancy or item left.
8.11 Prior to putting up any decorations you must confirm this with Lagom staff in writing.
- Deposits
9.1. At Lagom we have been fortunate to attract only lovely respectful guests so far. However to protect ourselves in the off chance of unruly guest behaviour, Similar to any hotel prior to check-in we request guest payment card details to be stored on our secure system which conforms with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard. We do not charge anything to this card nor do we take a hold. We just store the details.
9.2. What happens if I break something? Initially we would hope that you tell us about this. We understand that accidents happen and well there is also just general ware and tare. However if it is something much more excessive then we must try to find a suitable solution for replacement. This will all be confirmed with all parties before action.
9.3 If on the off chance Lagom can not contact the guest after an issue. Lagom reserves the right to charge the guest payment card the amount of replacement.
- Marketing
10.1 We seek to offer the best price to those in the Lagom Tribe and as such, on the basis of legitimate interest, those who make a booking at Lagom will have their booking email added to our mailing list. They will then be among the first to receive news and exclusive offers directly from Lagom. Recipients can of course unsubscribe from receiving these communications at any time and regular customers can instead access our best deals and offers by contacting us directly via WhatsApp on +447956964433 and requesting such.
Extras
- Prices and Taxes
All prices stated are in GBP Inclusive of any taxes.
- Payment and Terms
100% of all payments are taken at the point of booking.
- Check-in/Check-out
The rooms are ready for occupancy from 4 pm. On the day of arrival, luggage may of course be deposited earlier in the gear room.
On the day of departure, the rooms may be used until 11:00 am. You are welcome to leave your luggage in our gear room (Ground floor). The WC in the gear room may also be used. Late check-out is possible on request and subject to availability.
- Traveling with Minors
Children up to 2 years stay free of charge in their parents’ room. And of course breakfast is included. A cot can be provided if requested prior to arrival. There is a small fee for its use.
- Accessibility or Special Needs
Our accessible room has been designed within the confines of a Georgian Building. This is not a fully disabled friendly room. Access to the top floors are via the stairs only. All features are detailed in the room info page. If you have any questions about the room please contact the team.
- Parking
Parking is free of charge. The carpark is protected by CCTV however the Lagom accepts no responsibility for any damage or theft.

This applies to all items within the reservation. 3rd party experiences or suppliers may have a separate policy.
Bookings via OTA’s have their own cancelation policy stated within the OTA.
Any amendments to a room booking date can be done for free however if the new dates are more expensive you will need to pay the difference. All amendments to your date of stay must be made 21 days prior to arrival. Amendments to the date of group bookings or events must be made 90 days prior to the booking date.
Further Damages & Cleaning
Any breakages or damages will be charged. A quote will be provided on request for the goods/services +20%.
If the room is left extra dirty a minimum extra cleaning fee of £80 will be charged.
Gift voucher
- All gift vouchers are non refundable, however there is no time limit for their use for all cash based vouchers! Service based vouchers can be used for their cash value after their set period.
- All non monetary gift vouchers may be used within their set time periods as specified on the voucher. These vouchers cannot be used during public holiday periods unless specified differently on the voucher.
Partnership & Affiliate Bookings
All partnership and affiliate bookings are conditional upon the fulfillment of agreed obligations as outlined in the partnership or affiliate agreement or within written communication. If these obligations are not met, Lagom reserves the right to charge the full standard rate of the booking to the partner or affiliate. By entering into a partnership or affiliate arrangement, you agree to these terms and acknowledge that non-compliance may result in full charges being applied.
Furry Friends
The costs are £30 per dog.
Lagom Pet Policy
- Only pooches under 30lbs are allowed and only one pooch per stay.
- If a room’s damaged or super messy, there will be a fee for cleaning or repair costs at check-out.
- Dogs are allowed to relax in the lobby and grounds, however they are not allowed on the 1st or top floor, Kitchen or Lounge of Lagom.
- All dogs need to be kept on a leash or in a carrier when in public areas of the premises.
- In the event of an emergency, if uncontactable you must agree for Lagom to call a vet and release all responsibility should anything adverse happen
- Dogs cannot be left unattended in the room.
- Dogs must have up-to-date vaccinations, proof of which should be available on request.
- All dogs must have a crate to sleep in.
- Must be toilet trained.
Guide dogs and service dogs permitted, advance notice must be given.
Riders/Chalet Pet Policy

Bike Rental

Rental Agreement: By renting a bike from Ride North Coast, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.

Age Requirement: All renters must be at least 18 years old or accompanied by a parent or legal guardian to rent a bike.

Valid ID: A valid government-issued photo ID and a valid credit/debit card are required for all rentals.

Safety: Riders are responsible for their safety and the safety of others while using our bikes. Helmets are provided and must be worn at all times.

Bike Condition: Before renting, riders must inspect the bike for any damage or mechanical issues. Please inform our staff of any concerns.

Rental Period: The rental period starts at the time of pick-up and ends at the specified return time. Late returns may incur additional charges.

Rental Rates: Rental rates are clearly stated and subject to change without prior notice.

Security Deposit: A security deposit may be required at the time of rental, refundable upon the safe and timely return of the bike.

Liability: Ride North Coast is not liable for any injuries, accidents, or damages that may occur during the rental period.

Rental Extensions: If you wish to extend your rental period, please contact us in advance to check availability and confirm additional charges.

Bike Returns: Bikes must be returned in the same condition as received, except for normal wear and tear.

Loss or Theft: In case of loss or theft of the bike, the renter is responsible for the full replacement cost of the bike.

Cancellation Policy: Cancellations made at least 24 hours before the rental start time may be eligible for a refund.

Inclement Weather: In the event of adverse weather conditions, you may reschedule your rental or receive a refund.

Personal Belongings: Ride North Coast is not responsible for any personal belongings left unattended during the rental period.
