All prices stated are in GBP Inclusive of any taxes.
Payment and Terms
100% of all payments are taken at the point of booking.
Check-in/Check-out
- The rooms are ready for occupancy from 4 pm. On the day of arrival, luggage may of course be deposited earlier in the gear room.
On the day of departure, the rooms may be used until 11:00 am. You are welcome to leave your luggage in our gear room (Ground floor). The WC in the gear room may also be used. Late check-out is possible on request and subject to availability.
Traveling with Minors
A cot can be provided if requested 24 hours prior to arrival.
Accessibility or Special Needs
Our accessible room has been thoughtfully designed within the confines of a Georgian building, but please note that it may not be fully suitable for those with disabilities. Unfortunately, access to the upper floors is only available via stairs. Our team is always on hand to answer any questions you may have.
Parking
Parking is free of charge. All EV chargers rates are displayed in your app. The carpark is protected by CCTV however the Lagom accepts no responsibility for any damage or theft.
Cancellations and Amendments

This applies to all items within the reservation. 3rd party experiences or suppliers may have a separate policy.
If you have booked via an OTA's your cancelation policy will be with that OTA..
Any amendments to a room booking date can be done for free however if the new dates are more expensive you will need to pay the difference. All amendments to your date of stay must be made 21 days prior to arrival. Amendments to the date of group bookings or events must be made 90 days prior to the booking date.
Damages & Cleaning
Any breakages or damages will be charged. A quote will be provided on request for the goods/services +20%.
If the room is left extra dirty a minimum extra cleaning fee of £80 will be charged.
Gift voucher
All gift vouchers are non refundable, however there is no time limit for their use for all cash based vouchers! Service based vouchers can be used for their cash value after their set period.
Pets - Furry Friends
We’re happy to welcome well-behaved dogs at Lagom. Please review the policy below to ensure a comfortable stay for all guests — two-legged and four-legged alike.
General Terms
- A fee per dog per stay is applied - this can be found in during your booking or in your guest portal.
- Only dogs under 30 lbs (14 kg) are permitted, with a maximum of one dog per booking unless agreed in writing.
- Dogs must be toilet trained and sleep in a crate.
- Dogs must not be left unattended in rooms or on the property.
- All dogs must have up-to-date vaccinations; proof may be requested.
- In the event of an emergency, if we cannot reach you, you agree that Lagom may contact a local vet and release Lagom from responsibility for any adverse outcome.
- Any excessive cleaning or damage caused by pets will incur an additional cleaning or repair charge at check-out.
Lagom House (Main House - Single room booking)
- Dogs are allowed to relax in the Pet friendly rooms, lobby and grounds when supervised.
- Dogs are not permitted in the kitchen, lounge, or any areas on the first or top floors.
Riders Lodge / The Hideout (Chalets)
- The same general terms apply apart from the size of the dog.
- Dogs are welcome but must not be left unattended inside. Please keep dogs on a lead in shared outdoor areas.
- Any property damage or excessive mess will incur a cleaning or repair fee at check-out.
Lagom Collective / Crew Base Bookings
- When booking Lagom Collective or Crew Base exclusively, pets are allowed in Room 2 and all communal areas of the main house.
- Dogs are also permitted on the upper floors, but must not enter any bedrooms other than Room 2.
- Dogs may move freely throughout communal areas and do not need to be kept on a lead within the private estate.
- All other general terms still apply, including crate use for sleeping, toilet training, and cleaning responsibility.
Service Dogs
- Registered guide and service dogs are always welcome.
- Advance notice must be given before arrival to ensure we can accommodate you appropriately.
Bike Rental
- How much does it cost to rent a bike?
Bike rental is £1 for all guests of Lagom. Payment must be made by card.
- How does the security deposit work?
To act as a security deposit, we hold your card details during the rental period.
- What happens if the bike is not returned or returned damaged?
In case of minor damages, a lesser fee may be charged to cover repairs. However, failure to return the bike or significant damage will result in your card being charged the full amount of the bike without prior notice.
You are responsible for returning the bike to its location, even if it's damaged. Failure to do so will result in your card being charged the full amount of the bike without prior notice.

Do you need a visa to travel from Ireland to Northern Ireland?
Most visitors can travel freely between Ireland and Northern Ireland. There are no border checks or controls, but entry rules should still depend on your nationality and visa type.
Visa Requirements
- UK & Irish citizens: No visa required.
- EU / EEA citizens: No visa needed for short stays or holidays.
- Non-EU visitors: An Irish visa alone does not automatically allow entry to the UK, including Northern Ireland.
- If your visa is marked “BIVS” (British-Irish Visa Scheme), you can visit both Ireland and the UK on the same visa.
- Otherwise, you’ll need a UK Visitor Visa.

Border Crossing
There is no physical border or passport control between Ireland and Northern Ireland. You should still comply with visa and entry rules and its always best to carry a valid ID or a passport when travelling.
