Lagom – progress update 01
After opening Smugglers in 2019, check out the gallery here, we are very excited to be bringing the Big House back into use. We plan to welcome our first guests later this summer and we’d love you to engage with our journey by following us. Check out our Instagram for updates via stories and posts. You can also subscribe to “Be the first to know” project updates on the footer at the bottom of this page – if you want to get the scoop on Lagom’s latest.

Spring is well and truly here on the North Coast and the Big House is deep into a process of transformation. We hope that Lagom will become a base for people coming to the area to experience what is being curated and created by local people. A stay at Lagom will be an opportunity to meet other like minded people, orchestrated by serendipity. Along the North Coast you’ll find vendors offering experiences & events that will do your body, head, heart and soul good. We hope to become hosts who co-create moments of escape from the every day grounded in the experiences that are available to those curious to navigate the North Coast.
But for now our focus is transforming this beautiful big old building into a place where people like you can feel at home while you enjoy hanging out and discovering what is on offer along the Causeway Coastal Route. You’ll see from the images on our socials that we are literally working on a building site with trades doing the hard work of insulating, sparks, plumbing and creating new internal walls. We are building an adventure lodge on the North Coast. Please follow our progress by bookmarking this site and searching for our socials handle @staylagom.
