The best of Northern Ireland, brought together.

We’re looking for:Ā

Chefs. Makers. Photographers. Musicians. Wellness practitioners. Drinks brands. Artists. Creatives. Producers. Local businesses.

the Concept

“Not a typical retreat”

lagompresents is a series of intimate events at Stay Lagom, bringing together brilliant people from across Northern Ireland to create something memorable.

Each event is different, but the idea behind them is simple:

Bring good people together. Create something special. Share audiences, ideas and content. And make sure everyone involved gets something useful back.

What is it?

Ā

Part event. Part collaboration. Part creative playground.

We take over Stay Lagom and build an experience around food, drink, music, wellness, creativity and good company.

Rather than simply hiring suppliers to deliver an event, we want the people involved to feel like collaborators.

We provide the property, style the spaces, curate the guest list and bring together a group of people and businesses who complement one another.

Together, we create an event worth talking about — and plenty of good content along the way.

Why we do it.

A rising tide lifts all boats.

Northern Ireland is full of people doing genuinely brilliant things.

Lagom Presents is our way of bringing some of those people together under one roof.

It’s an opportunity to meet new people, share networks, introduce your work to another audience and create collaborations that might continue long after the event itself.

For us, the value isn’t in making money from the night.

It’s in what we can collectively create around it.

Not for Profit.

This isn’t a commercial event series.

We sell tickets to help cover the cost of putting each event together, but Lagom Presents isn’t designed as a profit centre for Stay Lagom.

In fact, we generally expect to invest in the events ourselves.

That means budgets can be relatively small and we want to be transparent about that from the beginning.

At the same time, we don’t expect talented people to simply give us their time for free.

Where a collaborator is providing a professional service, we’ll agree a budget wherever possible.

The wider idea is to combine that with something potentially more valuable: exposure to new audiences, professional content, shared marketing and access to the network we’re building around Lagom Presents.

Ā

What you get out of it.

More than a night at Lagom.

We want every collaboration to be mutually beneficial.

Depending on the event and your involvement, that can include:

Professional content
Access to photography and video captured during the event that you can use across your own website and social channels.

Shared exposure
Promotion through Stay Lagom and the other businesses, creatives and collaborators involved.

New audiences
An opportunity to put what you do in front of a carefully curated group of guests.

A new network
Meet other chefs, makers, photographers, creatives, brands and businesses from across Northern Ireland.

A seat at the table
Collaborators are part of the event. Where appropriate, you’ll have a ticket to stay, eat, drink and enjoy the experience rather than simply arriving, doing a job and leaving.

Future collaborations
We hope Lagom Presents becomes a place where relationships begin — whether that’s another Lagom event, a commercial booking, a content collaboration or something completely unexpected.

Ā

What We Bring

The setting. The people. The story.

Stay Lagom provides the backdrop.

We’ll set up and style the property, curate the overall event and bring together the guests and collaborators.

We also coordinate the marketing around the event and work with professional photographers and videographers to document it.

The aim is to create a setting where everyone involved has an opportunity to produce genuinely useful photo and video content, rather than another event disappearing after one evening.

One event. Multiple audiences. Plenty to share.

Ā

Who we are looking for

Good people doing good things.

We’re always interested in meeting people who could bring something interesting to a future Lagom Presents.

That might be:

Chefs & food producers

Photographers & filmmakers

Musicians & DJs

Artists & designers

Wellness practitioners

Drinks producers & mixologists

Florists & stylists

Makers & craftspeople

Outdoor & adventure brands

Independent Northern Irish businesses

Interesting people with an idea we haven’t thought of yet

You don’t need to fit neatly into a category.

If what you do feels like Lagom, we’d like to hear about it.

Ā

How collaboration works

No complicated pitch decks.

01 — Say hello
Tell us a little about yourself, your business and what you do.

02 — Find the fit
We’ll look at upcoming Lagom Presents events and see where your work could naturally fit.

03 — Build it together
If there’s a good match, we’ll agree what you’re contributing, what Lagom is providing, any applicable budget and how we’ll market the collaboration.

04 — Make something worth sharing
Then we bring everyone together, put on a great event and create a bank of content for everyone involved.

Ā

The Important Bit.

This only works if it works for everyone.

We’re not looking for free suppliers.

We’re looking for collaborators who understand the value of bringing audiences, networks, skills and creativity together.

Sometimes that will involve a fee. Sometimes product. Sometimes accommodation. Sometimes content and exposure. Often it will be a combination.

We’ll always be upfront about what we can offer so you can decide whether the collaboration makes sense for you.

No pressure. No awkward expectations.

Just good people seeing if we can make something worthwhile together.

Our Collaborators so far

Meet the people we’ve built this presents around, these are names worth knowing.
