Lagom Progress Update 11 – October 23 2022

Furniture is starting to arrive at our North Coast adventure lodge here in Ballycastle and we couldn’t be more excited to get those final tweaks and touches added to the ground floor rooms.

And upstairs things have really started to take shape with one of the biggest changes on the upper floor being in the communal kitchen. During our last update, you could see we’d started to install fixtures and fittings however now it’s looking more and more like a place to cook each and every day.

The island is in there, sink and dishwasher plumbed in, as well as 2 ovens that are built into the island making the most of the negative space underneath and we’ve even got the fridge in.

As you can see, the cupboards and counters are still “mid-installation” but the progress since our last update has been phenomenal.

We’ve also added some cool finishing touches across in the library and brought a little bit of the outside in – this is probably the most complete room we have at Lagom right now.

And down in the basement level, we’re still a work in progress, but it’s always good to see the fruits of your labour come together like here in our downstairs accessible wet room bathroom

Originally, we’d hoped Lagom to open towards the end of 2022. However, as things progress, it’s looking more and more likely that we’re envisioning a 2023 opening date.
