the Concept

“Not a typical retreat”

lagompresents is an annual series of carefully curated weekend retreats hosted by us at our estate in Ballycastle. Each bring together a small group of like minded guests with some of the most interesting makers, chefs, guides and creators from across the Irish North Coast and beyond. We take over the whole property and shape each weekend around the season, the space, and the kind of atmosphere we want to create. Each retreat has its own theme always unique – never repeated. If you miss it you miss it.

Food is shared. Time is flexible. Nothing feels over-structured.

Our Collaborators

Interested in becoming a collaborator for our next lagompresents event? we’d love to hear from you. Please fill out the below and we’ll be in touch.

Become a Collaborator

Lagom Presents is a not-for-profit collaborative event series bringing together some of the best independent food, drink, hospitality and creative talent from across Northern Ireland.

Rather than a traditional supplier event, it’s a shared marketing event: Lagom provides the space, organisation and audience, while collaborators bring their craft and networks. Together we create a great experience, professional photo and video content, cross-promote to our combined audiences and build connections that can lead to future opportunities.

The budgets are intentionally small and Lagom makes no profit — the value is in the exposure, content, shared networks and collaboration. If this sounds like it might be for you let us know!

A rising tide lifts all boats.

Join the Waitlist

Each lagompresents weekend is limited to a small number of guests, with rooms available across the estate to suit couples, friends, and small groups. Once those spaces are filled, bookings close.

Tickets for our first event, Midsommar, have now fully sold out.

You can join the waitlist below to be the first to hear and get priority access to our next event which will be held in the autumn of 2026.Ā
